When I'm not up to my elbows in clay I'm working with and for animals, namely dog rescue.  In 2012 I started fostering pups with Blue Ridge Border Collie Rescue.  A few years later with Save Our Herders Outreach.  And most recently with the Montgomery County Animal Care and Adoption Center, our local homeless animal shelter.  It has been some of the hardest and the most rewarding work.

Below are my fosters.  For now I'm taking a break from fostering but I'm still working behind the scenes to help the dogs in need.
